About me and my practice
I am a Counsellor/Psychotherapist with over 25 years experience working with Couples and Individuals with Relationship issues. Couples often require help with: Betrayals, Communications difficulties, Affairs, On-going arguments, Trust issues, Separations and in need of Conflict resolution.
The work will often centre on increasing self- and mutual- awareness so as to improve communications and to increase your understanding of the dynamics of the relationship. I will help you to try to transform the relationship you have, into the relationship you both want, to form one which is more mutually satisfying.
Sometimes, Couples decide that they do not want to continue to be together and want to separate: I will help you to do this and help yourselves understand why things didnt work out so that this experience isnt repeated.
Sometimes issues arise within the Couples work that originate in earlier relationships or particularly childhood. If this situation arises, then I often suggest that one or two sessions be held with myself and the individual, and then the Couple work continues with the new insights discussed and integrated into the Couples work.
I provide a Confidential service, where the focus is on yourselves and the relationship. Sessions are usually weekly, paid by BACS transfer.
